Solos has surprised the market by announcing the AirGo Vision, its latest smart glasses that compete directly with the popular Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Equipped with the most advanced integrated version of ChatGPT, these devices promise an enhanced visual experience comparable to smartphones, thanks to the inclusion of a dedicated camera.
Unlike their predecessors, such as the AirGo 3, the AirGo Vision stands out with a camera integrated into the left temple, allowing the artificial intelligence to identify objects in front of the user. This enables functions such as voice-command photo capture, assistance with daily tasks, recognition of people, animals, and plants, as well as step-by-step navigation.
The main attraction of the AirGo Vision is the support for GPT-4o, one of OpenAI’s most advanced artificial intelligences, ensuring speed and efficiency in interactions.
In addition to technological advancements, the AirGo Vision features a modular design, allowing for easy swapping of the temples to personalize the style.
Unlike competitors like the Ray-Ban Meta, which integrates the camera lens discreetly into the frame, the AirGo Vision takes an innovative approach by positioning the image sensor in the left temple, offering a unique solution in the market.
Another advantage of the AirGo Vision is the presence of integrated notification LEDs, which assist in communicating with the user in noisy environments where sound notifications might go unnoticed.
Set for an international launch in July, the AirGo Vision will be available starting at $249, approximately R$ 1,400 at the current exchange rate. This competitive price positions the new smart glasses as an affordable alternative to the cheaper models of the Ray-Ban Meta, which start at $299 (~R$ 1,650) and offer a variety of styles and integration with Instagram for posting Stories.
